My First Newspaper Interview: Le Parisien !! Oh là là !!

I'm not going to be very long on this issue..I don't want people to think I am showing off! But it is not that, believe me...it is to share my happiness with you! After all, you follow my life much more than people that have known me for years!!! You have also witnessed my beginning, my progress..in the same way I witness yours!
It is just that it is "Le Mois de la Photo" (Photo Month) in Paris, an event that takes place every two years, with different exhibits devoted to professional photography, of course!
But the daily newspaper Le Parisien, in a special supplement devoted to the subject, decided to interview amateur photographers, whose hobby has taken them "somewhere else"... Somebody suggested my name....and here I am! If you are a blogger, just like me, you will understand me..Ten days ago, I was busy in this soul-uplifting activities like making the beds, doing the laundry...the telephone rings and somebody introduces himself as a journalist, from Le Parisien...

To read the interview, click here

If it hadn't been for his perfect French accent, I would have thought it was a joke from one of my friends in Argentina...but he spoke perfect French so....
I have nothing but gratitude to this country which, as I have already expressed, has always treated me so well...and I am double-appreciative, because the French are not the type who give away compliments easily...!!
And then I have to thank you !!!! because without your support, without your comments, without your "blogger-love", my blog wouldn't have lasted very long..it would have withered!

Perfect opportunity then, to also thank my peers, who have given me this award this week!!!

Thank you, girls !!!! Much appreciated !!

Oh did this just put an extra lift in your step and a smile on your face? How sweet and fun. And you know - you don't just throw the blog together - there is a lot of care that goes into everything on it and it shows. So kudos to you. I couldn't pull up the interview but I remain delighted for you!

That is very exciting (and not bragging!). I wish you much success going forward!
What a triumph Cristina!!!!!!!!!!!

A huge congratulations to you! :o)

Also, I just read the article and it's good to know how your photos got so good. I was just gifted with my first DSLR and I'm going quite interested in learning how to use it. I live in quite a rural area so there won't be a Nikon (or Canon in my case) school around. But I shall have to look at doing something else!

Again - a massive congratulations on winning over the French!!!!!!
Cristina~ HOW COOL! I'm so proud of you! That sound's silly doesn't it--but I am! You truly deserve the recognition!

Congratulations!

You should brag and show off. Your time and effort have gotten you some press. I make wine and have won 27 awards. You better believe I want to talk about it when I win. I am doing what I do to better myself and just like you are creating a great story that needs to be told.

Felicitaciones Cristina! Well deserved and I know you'll have many more publishings and interviews, because you are super talented. I read your interview and it's nice to get to know a little bit more about you and your training. The glass photo and landscape are also beautiful, you not only have an eye or talent for food photography but for photography in general.
