Ganache Cream - La Maison du Chocolat, or Another Good Reason to Come to Paris!

Et oui...sometimes food-bloggers don't cook...sometimes (but only sometimes ;D ) they buy things..why not profiting from what the market has to offer? Probably getting ready for Easter (or just because) La Maison du Chocolat proudly announced this new product...created to be used, eaten...comme ça ! (just like that)

No course in writing would ever help me to describe the taste, texture, touch in the palate of this cream, whose only purpose is to accompany a piece of bread..a "tartine" as they say here...or macarons shells (that some crazy bloggers like me keep in the refrigerator.."just in case"), or whatever you want to....

Do you think I'm getting paid to this? No way...(yes, I am stupid!) I'm doing this out of pure "gourmandise" (gluttony), or to share...like we women share beauty secrets!
This type of "goûter" (after-school snack) has led me to the award of "Meilleure Maman Cuisto" (Best Mom Cook) in my girls' class...(well, I do cook from time to time ;D

When someone makes something better than I do, I buy it! And thoroughly enjoy the fruits of their labor. This ganache cream is exquisite and I do not have macaron shells lyiing in my fridge "just in case." I do however, have a spoon!

@Anastasia

Nutella is an industrial product, with a basis of walnut and I don't know what else..A pot here in France must be around 3 or 4 euros. This is chocolate and cream of the best quality, with a price of €14

@ A Spicy Perspective

OK ! It's a deal!!
Wow! Indeed another reason to go to Paris - not that I need it :)
This must be scrumptious...

This looks so tasty, I am quite surprised that you were able to photograph it at all. I know that I'd have gobbled it up completely before getting home to my camera.

I remember the first time I walked into La Maison du Chocolate I felt intimidated and the place was so formal. Haven't been there in years! Switched to Pierre Hermé and others. This ganache sounds and looks luscious! Does it come in different flavors?
Oh wow.

Posts like these make me wish shipping for the Maison du Chocolat wasn't so expensive to Canada! Trust me, I've asked! lol

@Toronto West Girl:

You are right. Shipping is ridiculously expensive everywhere. I've just ordered a book from Australia, and I had to pay a fortune!

My Sweet Cristina! I sometimes buy prepared products too-it's nice to know about a product that is both easy and, well, solid in terms of quality. Ooh, and that ganache does look amazing, doesn't it?! Yum...
p.s. Your photos are so nice here too-makes me want to have some chocolate with my coffee right now;)
